Well all in all not a very eventfull day. It was
a long drive thorught the mountains south to LA. I missed the big protests
in San Francisco, including the "vomit in" where a group of anti war protesters
went to the Federal Building and vomited on the front door to "show that they
are sick of Bush's war." Although the downtown traffic was basically at
a stand still, on the ring roads it moved at quite a good pace. I did hit some of the LA evening rush hour. This was exacerbated by the protests there. A group of protesters basically shut down Whilsire Blvd, which backed up traffic on the freeway until I got past the exit. |
