My route today took me through Georgia, South Carolina,
North Carolina, and Virginia. It is rolling hill country, spotted with lakes.
Rivers also flow toward the coast under the freeway. |

The trip was fairly uneventful, but when I got to
the hotel I saw that my left rear tire was flat. I'll have to spend some
of my site seeing time tomorrow getting it repaired. I am very impressed with my hotel room at The Viginian Suites. It includes a living and dinning area, a kitchen complete with gas stove top and oven, fridge, dish washer, and microwave. The washroom is off of a walk in closet. 440 sq. feet in total, and all for $75/night. If you ever have to stay in Washington, DC I highly recommend this place. |
