Travel Log - North American Odyssey 2003

I had settled into my position at RMC for about three years, and came to the realization that I had never really taken a vacation.  We were coming to the end of a "leave year" and I still had three weeks of vacation to use, or risk losing it.  I decided to take that three weeks right at the end of the current "leave year," and to take three weeks right at the beginning of the next "leave year."  Thus giving me six weeks in total.  Unfortunately, this also defined when I was able to embark on my trip.  If I could have I would have done it at least a month later than I did, but I grabbed the opportunity when it presented itself.

I returned to work well relaxed and happy to have visited people I hadn't seen, in some cases, for many years.
